Ask a doubt, see the source page
The AI tutor answers from the notes library and shows the exact page each answer came from. If the answer is not in the notes, it says so instead of guessing. Here is a real example.
Example
What are the four conditions for a deadlock?
A deadlock can happen only when all four hold at the same time:
- Mutual exclusion: a resource is held by one process at a time.
- Hold and wait: a process holds one resource while waiting for another.
- No preemption: a resource is released only by the process holding it.
- Circular wait: processes wait for each other in a cycle.
Breaking any one of them prevents deadlock; GATE often asks which condition a given scheme breaks.
